SPACCCE
Social Possibility And Creative Connection Communication Exhibition

In today’s world we are constantly feeling a disconnect, alienation, and separation from one another. This is the outcome of the modern technology we
have accessible: for example social media, the ability to experience the false sensation of connectedness through virtual worlds, and the possibility to
sustain a lifestyle completely separate from everyone else. Why would you ask a person a question when you can google it on your phone? Why would you meet with someone in person or call them you can just catch up over the internet in the comfort of your home? This disconnect from one another promotes feelings of distrust and fear from other people, which then promotes misunderstanding and apathy. SPACCCE plans to facilitate small forms of connection,
by way of giving/ sharing/ receiving things between people, through which we can slowly develop a level of trust between one another. Even if that level
of trust is small, it ignites empathy and more allowance for more understanding and compassion. Small connections and levels of trust explain and encourage more positive manners/ forms of behavior, which then lead to feelings of well being. The demonstration and interaction of small connections being built to more involved connections will create a deeper sense of belonging and a new cycle of lasting trust.
